About BMD Modern Hoods

Founded in 2004, BMD Modern Hoods was formed in response to meet the need for a fresh design approach. Our philosophy is that no client should be forced to choose between power and quality or elegant design and beauty; they should have the option to incorporate both. Our company’s founder, Brian Mayer, an interior designer specializing in kitchens and baths, realized there was a niche in the market that needed to be filled. After much research, he discovered that the products he and his clients were seeking did not exist – products that combined aesthetics and functionality BMD Modern Hoods is at the forefront of innovative and practical design for kitchen hoods. We are the next generation in kitchen ventilation with a new line of contemporary kitchen range hoods designed for residential use with commercial grade performance.
