Overview
Fanimation's Landan features both a DC motor and LED lighting which qualifies this fan to be one of the most energy efficient on the market. Nice unit - easy to assemble, quiet, good looking.
Do not order the Fanimation downrod under the "accessories" tab - the downrods are all chrome and were the incorrect diameter. Unit also comes with a remote so you do not need to order one separately.
Installation was easy - but for an expensive fan, wish it would have been balanced better. Had to play the balancing game - no fun, a pain, and time consuming.
Overall, fan is nice, looks good, uses a small amount of energy, provides nice color light from the LED's, and is extremely quiet.
